Iran’s ‘Whooping Cough’ to go on screen in Canada

The Iranian Cinematheque of Didar in Toronto, Canada, has scheduled to screen Iranian short ‘Whooping Cough’ during a program titled “Screening of Tirgan”.

Directed by Reza Tofiqjou, the short narrates the story of a couple whose son is diagnosed with whooping cough.

After becoming aware of the matter, the couple’s relationship enters a critical phase.

Kourosh Tahami and Shabnam Moqaddami are among the cast members.

The Iranian Cinematheque of Didar screenings will be followed by Q&A sessions, attended by the film crews, on February 21.
